We are the home of the Panthers and serve preschool through 5th grade in Lacey, WA. At Pleasant Glade, we follow the Panther Way, focusing on safety, responsibility, collaboration, and respect.

Goals & School Improvement Plan
Academic Gap Goals
- Increase the overall percentage of students meeting proficiency on the math easyCBM from 58.1% to 68%.
- Increase the percentage of students receiving IEP services (served by special education) who meet the grade-level standard on the math easyCBM from 38.49% to 48%.
- Increase the percentage of students who are multilingual at or above the 50th percentile on Math easyCBM from 45.15% to 55%.
Behavior or Social-Emotional Learning Gap Goals
- Decrease playground behavior referrals from 419 to 315 (a 25% decrease).
- Decrease the playground behavior referrals of students with IEP services from 49% of all playground referrals to 30%.
School Improvement Plan
Building History
Pleasant Glade Elementary was built in 1987 on 13.3 acres. It is located at 1920 Abernethy Road NE. The 46,785 square foot building includes 32 instructional spaces and 12 portable classrooms.
- In 2001, the interior was partially repainted and re-carpeted.
- From 2018-2020, Pleasant Glade underwent a school-wide building modernization using 2014 bond dollars, including a separate Early Learning Center (ELC) that houses the preschool and ECEAP programs.
